Raihana Seedat is an Abstract Artist based in Leicester. Having studied fashion design , her love for Art is what drove her to pursue an art career in 2012. She is well known for her Abstract art combined with Arabic Calligraphy. Her experimenting never stops, and the love for creativity is visible within her work. As well as dressing walls in homes and office spaces, her art surely leaves a statement.
All Raihana’s Art are hand painted originals unique to the buyer.
What is her inspiration?
Raihana is inspired by her faith and surroundings. Each blank canvas begins with a thought , a feeling, the building of layers and texture combined with her obsession of colour.

“Every piece of art is unique and each one is so beautiful! Not only have I received absolutely stunning pieces as gifts from the Art Souk but I have also attended a couple of Arabic calligraphy classes. These were such fun and and allowed me to create pieces I would not have imagined to do on my own. Since then, I have not stopped practicing what I learnt from the classes. It’s the best and most relaxing hobby!”
